Total Reclaim adds Credit Cards to PPI Reclaim Service

03-Jun-2009 Many people have asked for help with Credit Card Payment Protection Insurance mis-selling claims and now Total Reclaim have added this to their exist  service covering loans and mortgages. Partners Daryl Vickers and Dave Britch stressed that after a years intensive research working with the leading legal specialists in the field, their service was based on "total integrity" and delivering "total justice" to their customers, so that for loans and mortgages the only charge is a percentage of any money recovered, and for credit cards, because of the complexity, a net charge of just £25 is made if a claim cannot be pursued..
Almost everyone has a credit card and there are currently approximately 20 million loans and mortgages in the UK and, based on recent complaints to the Office of Fair Trading, up to 89% of complaints of mis-selling were upheld . If the terms of the Payment Protection Insurance linked to the loan were not fully explained or it was just a matter of ticking a box on a credit card application form box, then all past payments, together with compensation can be claimed and recovered, and more appropriate Insurance cover put in place. 
The Ministry of Justice and Office of Fair Trading recently sent out  a Consumer Alert warning people not to pay large up-front fees, and to seek professional advice from authorised and licenced companies like Total Reclaim.
